Tom K

The Honouree

From purchasing his first guitar and starting lessons over ten years ago Tom's skills and natural musical ability have gone from strength to strength. Whilst furthering his musical education and graduating from University with honours,
The Den has been lucky enough to have Tom as one of the guitar/ukulele tutors for 10 years now.
Screaming blues licks and classic rock solos are just some of the things you'll catch him playing on a daily basis. Tom K is an exceptional tutor and plays a vital role in The Den's family.

The student has become the master.

Tom started his drumming carer at the age of 8, as a boy that didn't like loud sounds. Since then he had gained incredible skill and experience playing for multiple bands as a session musician across the UK.
You can regularly hear a variety of musical genre beats coming from his tuition room like; metal, blues, latin, musical theatre, funk, soul, country and many, many more.
Since his graduation from BIMM he has continued to develop
with both his playing and tutoring here at The Den.

Darcey
The Romantic

Darcey started her piano career at age 6 with her Nan, she then had a piano tutor from age 7 and has thrived ever since.
She attended Aldridge School on the music scholarship where she discovered her passion for teaching.
Darcey has been with The Den for a number of years, with her students excelling in both playing for fun and graded examinations.
Her favourite genres are classical and romantic piano with elements of jazz and ensemble work also being an important part of her repertoire.

Anton stole his brothers guitars over 10 years ago and started learning on the sly whilst he was at work. Since then, he has achieved a distinction* in A level music and graduated university with honours in musical education; alongside playing to thousands for the last 5 years and counting in a multitude of venues around the UK both in a performance and pit band context.
Anton’s inspirations vary from metal to folk and everything in-between, more specifically; the progressive sounds of Alex Lifeson through to the blues inspired rock of Jake Kizska.
